Doug Moran, PCC | If You Will Lead, LLC

Award-winning and best-selling author, Doug Moran wrote If You Will Lead: Enduring Wisdom for 21^st-Century Leaders to help leaders reach their fullest potential.  Doug is an author, executive coach, consultant, and speaker with more than 35 years of leadership experience. Doug has been a leadership coach for 14 years and is a graduate of the Georgetown Leadership Coaching Program.   He coaches senior executives at leading organizations such as Freddie Mac, FINRA, Northrop Grumman, Dominion Energy, WIPRO, TVA, Sempra Energy, Busch UG, Revature, Cushman and Wakefield, and many others.

John Wise, PhD, PE | Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)

John Wise is a Senior Technical Advisor at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, where he focuses on aging management strategies to support safe long-term operation of nuclear power plants. He previously served a similar role with a focus on spent nuclear fuel storage. John also contributes to international initiatives that advance global readiness for extended operation. Before joining the NRC, he was a research assistant professor at Colorado School of Mines, research engineer at Bethlehem Steel Corporation, and failure analysis consultant at Exponent, Inc.

John D, Musser | Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO)

John Musser is the Director of Plant & Corporate Peer Reviews at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO). He leads the domestic and international peer review programs for INPO and WANO – Atlanta Center, focused on strengthening operational excellence, leadership behaviors, and safety culture. John brings over 25 years of nuclear operations and leadership experience, including service in the U.S. Navy and senior leadership roles at Fort Calhoun Station

Dennis Pidherny |Fitch Ratings

Dennis M. Pidherny is a Managing Director – Public Finance at Fitch Ratings, Ltd, and responsible for overseeing the firm’s analytical activities related to U.S. public power and water & sewer utilities, prepaid energy, state revolving funds and municipal bond pools, and municipal structured finance.  In his current role he is responsible for the development and implementation of master and sub-sector rating criteria, as well as presenting Fitch’s research to a wide variety of issuers, institutional investors, lenders and other financial intermediaries. 

Sanjeeva Senanayake | Moody’s Ratings

Sanjeeva Senanayake is a Vice President – Senior Analyst in the North America Power and Infrastructure Finance team at Moody’s Ratings.  Sanjeeva is responsible for ratings coverage for investor-owned utilities, generation and transmission electric cooperatives, public power and project finance. Sanjeeva has nearly three decades of energy and infrastructure experience covering power generation projects including renewables, investor-owned utilities, social and transportation infrastructure including public power partnerships (P3), oil & natural gas sector, and experience with emerging new energy sectors including hydrogen and fuel cells.

David Bodek | S&P Global Ratings

David Bodek is a Managing Director and Sector Leader of S&P Global Ratings’ Public Power and Electric Cooperative practice. David speaks frequently at industry conferences, discusses credit opinions with utilities, their financial intermediaries, and investors, actively monitors the credit ratings of a portfolio of high-profile public power and electric cooperative utilities, provides analytical guidance to colleagues, chairs rating committees, and develops rating methodologies.

Adam Christopher | TradeTech

As TradeTech’s Chief Market Analyst, Adam Christopher specializes in predictive statistical modeling to forecast uranium, conversion, and enrichment prices in the nuclear fuel markets. His principal areas of work involve uranium supply and demand, project development, nuclear fuel procurement practices, and market pricing while tracking developments in near- and long-term contracting. Christopher has in-depth knowledge and experience with analytical practices and is responsible for overseeing TradeTech’s market research and data services.

Calvin Pugh, PE | Dominion Energy

Calvin Pugh is a senior utility executive at Dominion Energy with deep experience leading large‑scale nuclear and infrastructure portfolios and shaping long‑term, capital‑intensive investment decisions. He has 30+ years of experience rooted in engineering, maintenance, operations and nuclear projects – Calvin brings a disciplined, risk‑informed approach to enterprise strategy—balancing safety, reliability, affordability, and regulatory accountability over multi‑decade horizons.

Mark Tanner | MEAG Power

As Nuclear Generation Asset Manager for MEAG Power, Mark Tanner provides oversight of Plant Vogtle Units 1-4 and Plant Hatch Units 1&2. Prior to joining MEAG Power as an owner representative, Mark worked for Southern Nuclear in various engineering positions on Vogtle 1&2, and then as the Engineering Liaison for the Vogtle 3&4 site between Southern, Westinghouse, and the original construction group Shaw. He also served various positions in Quality Assurance and Technical Vendor Oversight for major components. Mark has been heavily involved in the Vogtle 3&4 project since site preparations began and continues to be involved in daily operations on behalf of MEAG Power.

Brian DeBruin, CRIS, CPCU, ARM | Aon Commercial Risk Solutions

Brian is on the executive leadership committee of Aon’s Global Power & Renewables U.S. national practice. He leads the Forced Outage specialty brokerage team. He also leads the firm’s nuclear practice globally providing specialty risk advisory and insurance syndication to nuclear power plant owners/suppliers contractors, and utility/power clients. Brian also leads the coordination of derivative/parametric solutions for Aon Power & Renewables clients through Aon Securities.

David Opitz | Edison International

David Opitz is a distinguished finance and project management leader with over 40 years of experience driving large-scale operational excellence across energy and industrial sectors. He is currently serving as the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) Decommissioning Finance Manager at Southern California Edison (SCE). David specializes in the fiscal and strategic complexities of nuclear power plan decommissioning, long-range capital planning, risk assessment and expert witness testimony.

Rebecca Steinman, PhD, PE| Constellation Energy / American Nuclear Society

Dr. Rebecca Steinman is a nuclear engineer with 26 years of experience across the commercial nuclear power industry, spanning operating plant support, new plant licensing, and consensus standards development. She currently serves as Senior Manager, Corporate Licensing at Constellation, providing regulatory compliance oversight and strategic licensing support for the six Clean Energy Centers located in Illinois. Within the American Nuclear Society, she has served on the Professional Engineering Exam Development Committee since 2010 and has led certification and workforce development initiatives since 2022, including championing the new ANS Certificated Nuclear Professional (CNP) certification.  She was recently elected ANS Vice-Chair/President‑Elect in April 2026.

Bobby Olsen | Salt River Project

Bobby Olsen has worked for SRP for the last 21 years, where he has worked in various roles with responsibilities across different functional areas at SRP including generation, major projects, planning, strategy, environmental services, and trading/marketing.  Bobby currently serves as SRP’s Associate General Manager & Chief Power System Executive where he’s responsible for leading efforts to deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable power, overseeing planning, development, and operations of SRP’s bulk electric system. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Arizona University.

Patrick O’Brien | Holtec International

Prior to joining Holtec in 2021, Pat spent three years with Holtec’s decommissioning unit, Holtec Decommissioning International, as Senior Manager Government Affairs and Communications overseeing the Government Affairs and Communications programs at our five, current, decommissioning sites.  Pat began his career in the nuclear industry serving four years as the Company Spokesman and Sr. Communications Specialist for Entergy’s Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station. In this role, he served as the company’s direct media contact, managed day-to-day communications with employees, ran the company’s charitable contributions, and saw the plant through Column 4 recovery and transition from operational facility to decommissioning site. 

Joseph Baumann| Wolverine Power Cooperative

Mr. Baumann currently serves as General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer for Wolverine Power Cooperative, a generation and transmission cooperative based in Cadillac, MI.  In that role, he serves as the primary legal, regulatory, and compliance counsel to Wolverine’s Board of Directors and President & CEO.  He is also responsible for leading Wolverine’s regulatory and NERC compliance responsibilities, land development and management, as well as environmental policy and compliance. 

Mary Jane Yamada, PMP | TerraPower

MJ Yamada is the Chief of Staff to the Chief Operating Officer at TerraPower, where she leads efforts in organizational scaling and the execution of advanced nuclear megaprojects, including Natrium reactor technologies. With over 19 years of professional experience bridging high-level strategy with technical execution, MJ specializes in project management, risk management, and data-driven operational analytics. Her work is centered on achieving strategic alignment and operational excellence within the nuclear industry.

Mark Werner | TerraPower

Mark Werner is Vice President, Plant Delivery – Natrium® at TerraPower.  With 20 years of nuclear experience, Mark is a mechanical engineer who develops and leads engineering teams that design advance reactor concepts focused on impacting future energy markets. Mark has worked in plant layout and design, reactor system and equipment design, reactor core design and fuel design in his past positions. Mark has worked at TerraPower for more than 13 years solving challenges and key issues of designing an integral sodium fast reactor.
